Established in 2018, 1816 Bakehouse is an artisan sourdough bakery in the heart of Ballarat. Our team, led by head baker Josh Chapman, is proud to bring our range of sourdough breads and house made pastries, hand made pies and freshly filled sandwiches to the Ballarat community. All of our products are made in-house at our bakery, café and retail space in Armstrong Street North. Mrs Baker’s Still House

Family owned, family run. Mrs Baker’s Still House is located at Wimmera Hills Winery; where Jane and Benjamin Baker planted a vineyard and raised their kids on the farm. In 2016 they delved into their next adventure, the distillation of gins and liqueurs.

Many of the botanicals used in the gins are grown in Mrs Baker’s gin garden.

Ian Summerfield planted the first 10 acres of Shiraz vines in 1970, and from there, his deep and underlying passion for winemaking took off and Summerfield Wines was established.
