When deciding what to produce from our small farm at Bungaree and Buninyong, our mind kept coming back to how difficult it is to buy good quality meat that tasted good and gave us a sense of connection to the farm where it was grown.

Buying a steak or lamb cutlet from the shop was just like buying a tomato from the shop - the size and colour is full of promise but the eating quality is lacking. Like a home-grown tomato, home-grown meat just seemed to taste so much better.

So we set our mind to producing meat the old-fashioned way - grass fed, heritage breeds, extended aging and with a traceable link directly back to the farmer. We are Annabelle and Paddy Goodall.

Our Dexter breed beef is the ultimate slow food - grown on grass for over 2 years. And our Wiltshire Lamb is also grass-fed and grass-finished giving it a beautiful full flavour.
