1816 Bakehouse

Established in 2018, 1816 Bakehouse is an artisan sourdough bakery in the heart of Ballarat. Our team, led by head baker Josh Chapman, is proud to bring our range of sourdough breads and house made pastries, hand made pies and freshly filled sandwiches to the Ballarat community. All of our products are made in-house at our bakery, café and retail space in Armstrong Street North. Our friendly team would love too see you for a locally roasted coffee and a bite to eat, sit down or takeaway.

Being a small business ourselves, we understand the importance of using local products to support our local industry. We proudly use Australian flour, locally roasted coffee, local dairy, charcuterie, and fresh produce.

1816 Bakehouse products can also be found on the menu of eateries around the region, with our wholesale range designed local businesses. Our wholesale range is available for pick up and delivery 7 days, (nearly) every day of the year.
