Rachel Yeo, a passionate Smeaton farmer and hospitality expert with over 30 years of experience, founded Happy Scraps with one clear mission: to turn potential food waste into delicious, affordable meals for families and communities. Driven by her deep love for the environment and her commitment to sustainability, Rachel has dedicated herself to finding innovative ways to reduce waste, support local farmers, and inspire healthier eating habits. Through initiatives like Scraps-to-Table, The Happy Plates Project, and Scraps Packs, Rachel is transforming the way we think about food—one meal at a time.

At Hepburn Springs Brewing Co we believe that craft beer is more than just a drink - it’s an experience. We are a family-owned brewery, with 16 beers on tap, and proudly independent. We are dedicated to producing quality, award winning beers which have been handcrafted in Hepburn Springs, Victoria, Australia. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced, natural ingredients whenever possible, ensuring that every sip reflects our dedication to craftsmanship and sustainability. As a producer, we have transitioned to incorporate ‘Hepburn Springs Brewing Spirits’, distilling gins and flavoured vodkas. Our spirits use on-site, regional and Australian grown products. We are a small family run business that has been brewing since 2005. Located in Ballarat we began to make spirits in 2021 using a Tasmania make pot still. We make a selection of different craft beers and spirits.
