Chepstowe Vineyard
Chepstowe Vineyard, nestled in the picturesque Pyrenees wine region of Victoria, is a delightful winery known for its cool climate wines. Established in 1994, this vineyard produces a range of exquisite varietals.
The Carngham area is known for its short but hot and dry summers and bitterly cold winters. Protected from harsh frosts by the unique topography of the area, it is the perfect place for growing cool climate grapes.
The extended ripening period allows for the development of complex fruit flavour and combined with low yields enables us to produce fruit with great concentration of flavour and intensity.
An alliance between owner Matt Thain and winemaker Alex Byrne (Byrne Wines and Noisy Ritual Winery) sees the that the fruit is turned into fine cool climate wine that we can be proud of and shows the seasons character as well as our terroir.
