Join us for this informative and entertaining regenerative farming tour with our regions local farmers and cheesemakers!
Arriving at 9:45am, you will walk Brooklands Regenerative Farms laneways with owner and farmer Jono, where you will see our rare breed Berkshire Pigs (maybe even some piglets) and British White Cattle. You will learn about how we regeneratively raise our nutrient-dense, chemical-free produce from the paddock to the plate.
After the tour, we will head to our farmgate, and you will meet Nardia from Goldfields Farmhouse Cheese with all of her beautiful cheeses (we feed Goldfields whey to our pigs) and Jasmine from Sunnybank Regenerative Farm with her very special eggs & lamb.
There will be a special produce bag for purchase for $30 (normally around $50) containing the following:
1 x Nitrate Free Bacon from Brooklands
1 x box Eggs from Sunnybank Farms
1 x Cheese from Goldfields Farmhouse Cheese
Plus, you will be able to shop for delicious cheese, pork, eggs, lamb, bacon, ham, sausages, and beef - all from Brooklands, Goldfields and Sunnybank.
Light refreshments will be provided (tea, coffee, milo, water).
9:45am arrival for a prompt 10am start. Walking tour will go for approximately one hour where you will then go to our farmgate to meet Cheesemaker Nardia from Goldfields Farmhouse Cheese and Jasmine from Sunnybank Farm. The day will finish around 12:30pm.
We will contact you closer to the date with further details on how to get here, parking and what to wear & bring with you. Children are welcome. Because this is a working farm, we ask that you do not bring dogs.
